TEMPERS are soaring at airports across the country, with a new study finding 30 per cent of travellers have experienced airport rage.
Paul Fisher of totaltravel.com said a survey of 850 travellers across Australia had revealed a further 47 per cent of respondents admitted to feeling annoyed and stressed at airports but tried to stay calm.
"It's no longer an experience, it's just transport, and stressful transport at that," Mr Fisher said.
"Airports are busy places with more passengers than ever; tighter security, strict check-in times, more luggage restrictions. Throw in a few flight delays and it's a pressure-cooker environment."
