Transiting Muscat in current environment

Anyone flown Oman Air and transited Muscat since the Iran War started? Would be keen to hear about people's experiences.

No, but previously have flown WY on two return trips to Europe from MNL and found it to be excellent.

Oman has suffered some damage to an oil facility during the Iranian war.

I'm in Oman right now, not transit 3 day stopover before Istanbul. BKK-MCT .was a 737 and very full. It was supposed to be a 787 when I booked back in Sept. Oman is peaceful, business as usual and very friendly people. Only hint of a war is higher traffic between UAE and MCT as stranded travelers reroute via MCT.

I'm now in Istanbul after a 6 hour light on Oman Air. Airport is ok,I didn't have lounge access but gates are spacious. Flight was uncomfortable - old 737, no screens in seatbacks economy only seating. The previous 737 Max from BKK had full entertainment screens and a decent selection of movies.You would never know there is a war in neighboring countries. Muttrah Souq was really nice and feels very authentic. Taxis are cheap if you use Yango, but Yango can't come to a hotel. The app geoblocks everything except luxury taxis (whatever that means). You have to walk out to the road to get a normal taxi. Omantel tourist SIM was a good deal for5 OMR, 8GB data and local number. No advance visa needed for 14 days.
