I am flying from SIN-CGK on SQ and need to transfer to CX from CGK-HKG

How on earth do I do this?

Do I need to clear immigration at CGK and recheck in on CX?

thanks

We arrived at CGK at 10am on a SQ flight. Our bags were interlined to CX at SIN so we proceeded to the transfers desk.

The transfer desk person had a look at our passport and eticket receipt and said we could only check in 3 hours before departure. He asked us to come back at 12noon.

When we told him we had biz class tickets from CGK-HKG he personally escorted us through security and into the CX lounge. So there we waited until 12noon. But just as it was approaching 12noon, a CX check in person wondered in and approached us. She knew that we were both OW E and said we could wait here and she would take care of our check in. We gave her our passports and baggage tags. She also told us she could get us any seat we wanted on the aircraft. We were also a bit worried that our bags would go missing, so the lady personally assured us that she would find our bags and ensure they were tagged priority and on the CX flight. How's that for customer service!

On the actual CX flight, we were always served first. I think they take meal/drink orders in order of status. (We were not sitting in the first row - i prefer being able to place bags under the seat infront)

On arrival at HKG, our bags were the first to come out on the baggage belt. Both were tagged FIRST CLASS PRIORITY CX.

CX.... what an awesome airline.. They treat QFWP/OWE like royalty!

I 100% agree, I think CX are one of the best in relation to looking after OWE!
