Tiger Woods, Sandra Bullock -- and Southwest-WestJet

First it was Tiger and Elin Woods. Then Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. Now -- say it isn't so -- the partnership between low-cost carriers Southwest and WestJet could be in danger because of WestJet's courtship of Delta, and the spat is getting very public. I'm not sure the airlines are even talking directly to each other.

WASHINGTON

Southwest, obviously unhappy that planned future code-share partner WestJet is courting Delta for a code-share deal, is warning WestJet that their partnership is in danger of breaking up.

In a statement issued April 1, Southwest said it learned of the Canadian low-cost carrier’s hopes for a code-share deal with Delta from media reports.

New WestJet CEO Gregg Saretsky first mentioned the likelihood of a Delta deal in an interview that appeared in the Financial Post Friday, and also expressed some frustration with how long it is taking Southwest to upgrade its technology to enable the code share. A WestJet spokesman this week confirmed the carrier’s intentions.

The other thing mentioned recently on E News about Tiger and Southwest was that SWA was his carrier of choice when he flew his mistresses around the country.

It really makes you wonder when the mother of one of the said mistresses said something along the lines of "you're dating Tiger Woods he should be flying you first class". Shirley she cannot be serious - how could he be 'dating' when he's married with two kids.

Another one lamented that the only thing Tiger bought her while they were 'dating' was a Subway sandwich. Bet he only paid for a six inch too :!: :!:
