Tiger cuts DRW-MEL flights by 45%

News.com have reported that Tiger are dropping flights to 4 times a week from the present daily service:

"TIGER Airways has reduced its services between Melbourne and Darwin by three flights per week.

A statement issued by the low-cost carrier said the decision to cut weekly flights to the Northern Territory capital from seven to four would take effect from September. "

They claim "seasonal demand", which doesn't surprise me. Both Qantas and Virgin Blue reduce services over the hot/wet season don't they?

Do you guys think that they will fly the plane that was used elsewhere overnight??I would doubt it
