Did Tiger make any announcements in regards to this route?

Seems to have been quietly dropped.

I flew it once - it made for a good cheap long weekend in Adelaide (early morning flight out on VB, 1 or 2 nights, then return early evening on TT).

It's still on their route maps but I can't find any schedules for it. How odd. Maybe their website has had a little glitch?

I believe it was meant to be a daily service? In any case, neither ADL or PER websites are coming up with any departures or arrivals on the carrier & segment yesterday, today and tomorrow. Not like Tiger to actual acknowledge a setback/failure, they're a little to into themselves for that. Yet another route out of ADL quietly dropped it would seem.

ADL-PER is done and dusted. Last flight was on 3rd October. I heard that loads were pretty dismal on the 2am return..And it seems they got their way in that no media is bashing them over it. Although some might not have even known they flew this route. Mind you it could have something to do with the new schedules having both aircarft up at 6am and back close to curfew.

Why not a daylight service. They already fly longer routes to ASP/HBA, so why not PER?

I'm not surprised that it has been ended. My wife flew with them last weekend. The Friday night ADL-PER was cancelled, they put her on the early bird on Saturday. At check in there was pandemonium and hand written boarding passes, and staff were not helpful. Can they really be serious about remaining in this country's aviation market for the long haul? The price would have to be amazingly good for us ever to consider using them again.

Tiger handled it the usual way they handle everything - cheap. (justed stopped doing it and hoped no one notices, I guess if no one was flying the route then they are pretty safe on that)
