Three seats in EK F on the 380. Such a problem to have...

LH First Class Terminal (yes, its an entire terminal, not just a lounge) at FRA.

EK has a separate annexe for 1st and business class passengers checking in at DXB though they signpost it as 1st class terminal. On arrival in the complimentary chauffeur drive they have porters to take lugagge to check in and the annexe has its own passport control and security and then immediately afterwards there is a lift straight up to the 1st and business lounges.

If departing on a 380 service, they have boarding directly from the lounge level , so can avoid crowds and duty free shops entirely

Not exactly a separate terminal, but is a pretty decent runner up

Homer, glad you're seated in 3rd and 2nd rows much better than 4th the noise from the rear would have been annoying,

Last time we flew F EK 1st bottle Dom was cold but the 2nd was warm, so suggest advising crew to make sure it's well chilled if you intend on more than one or two glasses.

Enjoy your trip

Helen

I’m on the 380 from SYD-DXB-LHR but on the return leg, which will be out of either FRA or MUC, it is a 777 through to DXB before picking up the 380 again from DXB-SYD. The EK site says that the new First suites haven’t been rolled out to all of the 777 fleet. Is there a way to increase my changes of the new First (other than getting back to CDG or LHR to hop on the 380...)?
