what has virgin done in the past to make it festive? what do you think they will do this year? i heard they gave away upgrades a year or two ago?.... we are travelling back from new york on 24th to get the la to brisbane flight then bris - melb (which by then will be boxing day.

I remember the story where Westjet passengers were invited to request a "dream Christmas present" before they boarded a flight home. Then, Westjet went into overdrive and actually purchased gifts - to be waiting at the end destination!

As far as I know, only one person wished for a large flatscreen TV.....
