Interesting, but I can't imagine them having a table as wide as the one in the artists impression. but when ever has any artists impression looked like the final reality)

Matt

Based on my experience with trains is OK if traveling with family/people you know well enough, but with strangers it is awful in terms of legroom/personal space.

Interesting concept, but the amount of space required makes me think it'll cost far too much for a family.

Take the AirNZ couch for example, if there's 3 of you, it doesn't cost any more than the 3 seats (AFAIK), as it's the same area. However the artists impression gives the idea it would eliminate at least one row, if not more by including the table/design.

Spatially to achieve the booth thing (replete with thick plastic ensconce and luxurious armrests on either side), and then stick the three blue seats in it, on a B737 - those seats would have to be soooo narrow that they would be able to fit the equivalent of 4x4 of them on a B737, if the plastic surround and padded arm rests were removed!'
