Thanks @ellen10. I'm not so sure about happy or happiness. My wife is stressed. Most of the neighbours are jealous. My sister in law goes out the front of my mother in laws place next door and just stares at our house. Visitors stop and stare. My wife has done a great job. Everything you see is her idea. I've stayed out of it.

I think it's a humble little house. Certainly a few houses around us that are much bigger and more expensive.

No one can stay in the house apart from me, wife, daughter and mother in law when we are there. It will be locked up and keys come with us. I need to install surveillance. We are going to put solar lights outside.

The first thing I will do is buy a BBQ in 2 weeks and we'll cook every day. If they want to be jealous we'll give them something to be jealous about.

But yes if things get tough I think it will be a great little place to relax.
 
All looked great until I got to the Big Jim .... I could have missed that course ! I would have love to try the FAT cough asparagus !! :D :D

FBs have been the menu before - the hollandaise was amazing. I would have encouraged you to try the dish with chilli - just a bit zesty, not hot.

Contract is 31 October so they have to finish by then. Bed and furniture arriving towards end of month. We have found the BBQ we want.

I'll be in Thailand end of month but staying in Pattaya until 05 November so I can play some golf with friends.

Sounds good but not sure we have time! Pretty tight schedule of gardens and lunches with various friends. Where are you located. (PM).
