We have just clocked up 2,700 km showing our German friends parts of the Goldfields and Esperance - including the old tanker jetty pictured by GarrettM above. Internet access was very shaky for part of the trip so I have not made any postings. I will be making up a short trip report soon, but as a taster three photos.

The desolate graveyard for the abandoned town of Mulline - north west of Kalgoorlie over very bumpy gravel and dirt roads. My grandmother was one of the last burials here in 1918 - her 5 year old daughter is also buried here - both are in unmarked graves.

All that is left of the town of Davyhurst where my father was born - just south of Mulline.

Nice - I love the WA Goldfields and those beaches around Esperance are amazing. Scratched around the region on and off since I was a kid. Mulline doesn't even come up on a Google maps search, whereas Davyhurst does. Did you get to Lake Ballard? (Maybe I'm pre-empting your TR in asking that...).

Here is a clue.:) (40 C day so a bit warm - more in the TR)

(Mulline is/was between Riverina Station and Davyhurst.)
