Day two of the “don’t let the credits expire tour” was spent at the Katoomba office.

First up, scenic world and the cableway to the valley floor.

It’s pretty damn steep.

Looking back up you see Orphan rock. It lies one “headland” further west than The Three Sisters.

Some perspective on just how far down the valley really is.

Next we took the world’s steepest railway back up.

No pics because at 64 degree incline, both hands were needed to brace myself and keep Princess H in her seat.

Standard is 52 degrees, but they have added seats that can be adjusted +/-12 degrees.

Then it was onto the cableway for great views of Katoomba falls.

And later the same falls from the short bush track around the cliff top.

Amazing views across the valley watching other tourists just hanging out ;)

And even though the mountains were the drawcard, the clouds were not to be outdone and put on a really nice show.

From my aluminum tube chariot on Wednesday:

The Adelaide Hills (or at least ones pretty close) in the first photo and the most famous ground in Adelaide front and centre in the second:

Tonight's office. Our favourite Bangkok hotel - the SGS. Probably going to be a lot different to our previous experiences. I mean we even had to push the button to get the lift to our room. Where has the fellow who did that for you gone. It had been fine on the drive in from BKK but whilst checking in it started to pour. So our view wasn't great.

Were you staying there when I had dinner with yourself and mrs.drron? I was staying at the Accor SO Bangkok on the edge of that park?? We ate at a place that was having a soft-opening.

Yes, the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is basically the only place we stay 🙂
