The view from my "office"

We're staying at Galle and just came down for the day. It is very relaxing though.

I'd really like to go back to Sri Lanka. we enjoyed it a great deal. Here's a pic of a wedding that was happening on the wall of Galle Fort while we were there.

The view from yesterday's office in Ireland (County Cork; West Cork) - doing a hike along the Sheep's Head Way, stopping for a few photos around a lookout point near Bantry. The wider area is referred to as the Wild Atlantic Way.

Whilst London was having its warmest winter weather on record for some time (a nice change from last year, where it was the opposite in terms of cold/snow!) - Ireland still had some fairly decent weather although the pictures don't really show that as it looks a bit hazy/foggy.

Then the view from today's office..... nice and sunny and although it was only 13 degrees, it was very pleasant and felt quite warm! Not the 21 degrees London had....... but still alright

Today's walk was out at Farran Woods not too far from Cork city, which also houses the home of Ireland Rowing. A very pleasant forest walk with some deer contained within the area. Finished off with a nice vegetable soup with Irish brown bread (of course!) at a local garden centre.







They call Ireland the Emerald Isle....... (not Oneworld Emerald!) Perhaps this is taking that a little too far!?

If it's a VFR flight there could be problems. PNG Highland flight conditions can change dramatically and have contributed to many accidents.

Profetic Major. Headed off toward Western Highlands, but now back at the start in Enga! The weather closes in minutes here, so now just waiting, waiting... I usually don't worry so much about the cloud dropping, it's when the cloud starts rising up from the valleys that seems to be more problematic!
