My office today north of Port and Braga in Portugal. Sun burnt and wind burnt, that's Spain you can see in the background.

It was a good day until Ogier went off and then later kiwi Hayden Paddon also crashed necessitating a trip to hospital for a checkup and the cancellation of the stage. :(

Where else are you going on Vancouver Island? Butchart gardens are excellent.

Going up to Tolfino or Ucluelet? (Pronounce as Yuki.)

Remember the best oysters in the world come from Vancouver Island and Puguet sound. Wonderful oyster truck at Ucluelet that used to be run by fellow from Adelaide.

A few days in Budapest. This is the view from our studio apartment in K9 Residence. Has nothing to do with canines. K9 comes from the address, Károly Körút 9 (Charles Boulevard).

Unfortunately the building with the mural is a fire station. Fire trucks depart from there quite often, with sirens wailing!

Of course those of us who can access the best oysters of all, say nothing about where they come from, else all you buggers will come along and take 'em all!
Even the spat for Coffin Bay oysters come from our secret place.

Errr, hasn't there been some discussion on that here on AFF previously? I predict some disagreement with that comment! ;) :D
Yes, disagreement from those unfortunate unenlightened ones who had not been there before, but in reality no argument. Australian ones (all two plus one species) don’t compare. Worth going to Vancouver Island and Seattle just to eat oysters.

Except that they obviously dont sell oysters to the public before Victoria Day-next Monday. No oyster shack was open and the only restaurant we went to that had oysters on the menu when ordered replied-Sorry that is the wrong menu and shouldn't be out yet.
So on one important point Tassie and Coffin Bay oysters win hands down-I can get them when I want them.
