The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

A busy day at work meant that this was the only view I had of the "Queen Mary 2" departing Melbourne this afternoon:

After another enjoyable week in Sydney it's time.to head home.
And time to finally enjoy my first ever J flight. Can't believe I let the wife have 1a. Sigh.

You do realise that you have set yourself on a slippery slope, on which there may be no going back? Both figuratively and literally.

Guess what I got as my mobile office this morning??

Sounds kind of silly, but I almost feel privileged to have scored one of only three of these paint jobs!

I'm on a roll. Yesterday I got retro No.2, No.1 was a BSI and No. 2 was an oldie. One more and I'll have a set! I'm a little confused as to why the different livery. I thought all the retros were the same until I bothered looking with my eyes open!

See if someone can correct my pigeon. I read it as saying " Take Notice - Definitely Prohibited ... Please do not bring these items into the bettlenut market ... Bush Knife or pocket knife - guns, spears or bows and arrows - beer, homebrew or marijuan_ ... if you bring them in, you'll cop a K50 fine and be banned from the market."

The local video shop. Downloads cheap ... quality questionable ... viruses, free!

QF will need to do a third before you can have the set ;)

re: The view from my "office"

I asked the crew on the first, and they said there were three of them. Is that incorrect?

It is if they were talking about Retro liveries, but not if you include Mendoowoorrji, which is a special livery, but not a retro

SQ J in May. Japan to Perth via Sin.
After that I'll probably have to wait another 20 years for the next one.
Oh well.
