The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

Absolutely.

A sudden realisation of that this month, when I realised that the stress of trying to accumulate $ funds that (according to my accountant) I needed for retirement was potentially a wasted effort as I might not have made it to retirement. Which is not that long away. And have already informed the accountant of that.

Which means I am going to spend more time posting pictures of glorious 'Views from my Office' in future. Once I can fly again. :(

Not helpful when your husband is the accountant and he says "no more big holidays as we need to pay off the investment mortgages, so we can retire"

We live next door (Realm Quarters) - if you give me a time I'd love to catch up with you. Are you eating at Buvette, Ostani or at a private function?

Was looking at Ostani (good reviews from another Canberra thread) Staying at Crowne.
Dinner time I guess, so 6:30ish for drinks then dinner around 7pm for us.

Nice spot - Do you live in one of those apt blocks on Beach St?

Yes, in Beacon Cove.

It was indeed a stunning sky this morning. Almost the same view from my window - but rather more pinks and reds.
We must be almost in line - but my window is a couple of km towards the sunrise, I would say. :)

It was pinker/purpler (?) earlier, but by the time I extracted the camera from my hand luggage (having only returned yesterday) and raced up to the roof terrace, the sky had become more orange. The forum software also reduces the file size and hence the photo quality (but the desktop image is also 400k in size cf the forum's 83k).

Way too technical for me! :)
In fact, I did snap a quick shot on my phone but posting it here would be beyond me. Just as well. You would not be impressed with the quality.
But we each have the image in our mind's eye, so all is well. :)
