The view from my "office"

re: The view from my "office"

Pleasnt 5.5h drive PER-Bremer Bay on the S coast today. Reason for the trip will hopefully become spectacularly evident tomorrow.

Stirling Range represents the closest thing we have to mountains in SW WA.

Isn't red meant to stimulate aggressive feelings?
Not sure that is a great idea on Palm island.:)
The great extent of hostilities is between themselves and some directed at Police as a hang up from the days of old. I have had the pleasure of suturing large facial wounds a 4:00 am due to highly accelerated elongated objects hitting the skull and then splintering into sharp pieces causing the bulk of the damage. What the picture doesn't show is the predominantly blue sky which is in abundance!!

I know 2 indigenous fellows from PI here in Tassie. One has been really successful.Has now opened 3 businesses. Was captain of his cricket team and stood for parliament in the last State election.
However neither is regarded as indigenous here as they were not born in Tassie.

When you look at the history of PI it all becomes clear. Have organised courses including quite a few PI residents who impress with real commitment to help their mob.

Just edited my post.. I pasted the wrong emoticon.. I am familiar with the history of Palm Island.. it was the medical stuff that I have no idea (or stomach) for...

Headed out from Bremer Bay about 30km into the S Ocean to the edge of the continental shelf over the Bremer Canyon today Orca-watching :).

Of course, a few snaps with a phone are hopeless for capturing the Orcas; the only way to get good pics is a 35mm with a big lens and using burst mode.

Fishing Lake Wakitipu, Queenstown New Zealand.

Mobile reception cuts out half way up the lake, which was my "I am in the office" marker, which I only crossed during my lunch break. ;)
