These military folk had an even better view than me as they disappeared north along the PER coast. City Beach is 3 km N of the SAS base and the live-fire flags were up this morning, which takes the last half km off my running track. The chopper may have come from there.

Possibly Rhapsody of the Seas according to CruiseTimeTables. Leaving for a coastal cruise up to QLD this evening (in fact should be just about gone now).
