Freezing my nuts off here in MEL I have a hankering to head nth and take in an AFL match at Metricon Stadium.

Just called Velocity and they tell me they do not actually control The Lounge at Metricon Stadium - seems weird.

Any of you guys have any advice as to just how Plat might get access?

It's not an actual lounge of any sort - just a corporate hospitality facility. Any FF benefits do not apply.

Yes starting to appreciate that - again anybody with inside info on how to get access?

I will call Metricon am Mon but thought an AFF member might have been in the know.

Any updates on this, anyone?

Anyone experienced it?

My elderly neighbour was a guest of her daughter, as her granddaughter played some exhibition game before the main game recently. The daughter wouldn't reveal how much her tickets cost, but wasn't impressed that the price didn't include any drinks (cash bar). Food was complimentary though, prawns, no oysters. That's all I heard.

Edit: From what I've read it's $2250/11 home matches, so perhaps $205 per match, for food but pay-as-you-go drinks. Sounds wonderful!

The company i work for has 10 Lounge Memberships and i often go. Its a nice facility, the food is good with plenty of variety each week however the no drinks included is a little disappointing.

If you'd ever like a nice red after (or before) a game, I'm just down the road in Royal Pines! ;)
