Hi there I was wondering if anyone knows whether Virgin have yet opened their new The Club lounge in Melbourne? Meant to be open mid January. Also anyone who has any reviews of the new Qantas Chairmans lounge, reviews would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Simo, that's not what he was asking. I understand there will be a The Club, but it'll be part of the upstairs area which is yet to be opened/completed.

I am a member of the club, I just haven't been to Melbourne since November (when it wasn't yet open). JB said mid Jan which is why I am asking as travelling down this month. Guess I will see either way

I honestly think the 'magic' of frosted or opaque glass doors to The Club and Chairman's Lounge has done more for profit than it's ever cost the airline to provide what's behind it (and strangely, profit from those who most likely never will go through said doors). There is something to be said for creating mystery lol.
