Flew PER-BNE on Saturday on the 737. My ticket was booked in J months ago by work and it was only last minute that the mrs decided she wanted to come to Brisbane for the week, so I tried to upgrade a flexi to J but there wasn't any upgrades left, and she wouldn't let me spend the $$$ on a J 737 ticket, so down the back of the bus she went.

We checked in via the premium check-in line and when the attendant realised I was travelling J and the mrs was down the back, she took a couple of minutes and sorted the Mrs into row 3. The middle seat was vacant and she had the window. (note: the mrs has no status, her points/SC come to me).

The mrs was very happy (which means I'm happy), Thanks Virgin!

Service was excellent, offered the mocktail and a newspaper prior to take off and had a fantastic duck for the main washed down with a couple of Scotches. I used my new NoiseHush i7 Noise Cancelling Headphones on the Samsung tablet and was very happy with the performance.

Hi, Mrs was very lucky for someone who has no status and your status being gold they looked after you very nicely.

I hope you take the opporunity give Virgin the above feedback and also thanking them for the FA who provided excellent customer service.

I always like feel good stories, Nice one:)

There are so many negative stories and complaints. It's nice to know there are people that are still getting great service and things are working as they're supposed to. Great story; thanks for sharing.
