My son has been planning a trip to Perth for some months now, partly to surprise his father for his birthday and partly so his girlfriend can attend a function.

Last night I got a call for the (QFF) bank of Mum. My son thought he had booked for today but in fact his flight was yesterday. So he needed 6000 more points to get him and his girlfriend over here today for the function this evening. I had already lent points to Son No. 1 a couple of months ago. But with the change to family transfers, I happily sent Son No. 2 the 6000 points and so will see him this afternoon.

I love my children dearly but giving points is above and beyond. Lending is as far as this mother can stretch. So I will insist on the return of all the points to the above mentioned bank, as I am addicted to CX J class to and from PER. Such good value!

I can feel a 4 way scoop up of points coming on.

Funnily enough, both sons will be crossing the continent today in different directions thanks to their Dear Old Mum.
