Just a quick question regarding the amenities in the Thai Business lounges at BKK.

Where the lounge has shower facilities do they also provide shampoo's, shower gels, towels etc.

Would like to spruce up before the flight out and not sure whether to pack those things in our carry-on or not.

Cheers,
Aaron

Certainly get towels, seem to recall they had some bottle of things in the showers for you to use such as gel/soap... Don't think you need to pack much in carry on cept a change of clothes etc to freshen up...

Make sure you pick the right lounge. ..TG has many and not all have showers. (They will have toiletries and towels though).

If you go to the big central one that is where you can get some of the massages if travelling in J/F...

Yes they provide all the amenities you have listed. The shower suites are very good, just ask at the front desk as you walk in. There are no showers in the main large concourse D lounge. Your best bet is concourse C or E, just be aware of the walking distance to your gate and that no flights are announced.

From memory flights were called in the 2 TG lounges I visited in concourse E.

Am I dreaming? I shall check again next month.

I went to the J Lounge opposite the J Spa (Im not sure what concourse that was). Was nice and quiet early on a Saturday morning. The shower rooms there are good - very large and they give you several towels (and I think there are other amenities provided but I used the ones from my TG J amenity kit anyway).

The lounge itself is looking a bit tired but its a perfectly fine place to flop for a few hours. Plenty of staff on hand to assist. The chicken noodle soup was absolutely delicious.

The J lounge opposite the spa is Concourse D which is the largest lounge. Also doesn't have a view unlike the others which have tarmac views. This is the lounge you access when you go straight down the escalator after the premium immigration area. Not sure how you would have had a shower in that lounge as I am pretty sure there are none in that lounge.

Yeah, am pretty sure they don't announce any flights. They have a sign as you walk in stating it as well.

You will get all amenities if you get in the lounge with showers. Concourse D (one opposite of spa) does not have showers. Concourse C does, as you come in put your name on the list, you shouldn't wait too long. Concourse C is only short walk from D, so I'd definitely recommend using it if you are in this part of the airport. As mentioned prior, walks are really long.
flights are not announced in any of these lounges.
