Thai Airways / Royal Orchid Lack of Reward Seats

I have joined this forum because of my ongoing frustration with the lack of reward seats with Thai Airways where I have Gold status and plenty of reward miles. I usually fly business class and was hoping to occasionally find business class reward seats. Today I had a friendly operator check and there are no seats (any class) available for the rest of the year. That is frustrating. Could this be because I am not Platinum? I understand that Thai sometimes releases reward seats in batches. How can I get noticed?

Any help would be much appreciated.

FWIW, I was keeping an eye on Lifemiles and noticed TG pulled a lot of award availability (even in Y) from Australia to Europe about a week after the current Middle East crisis started.

They probably figured they could sell the seats.
