Appears that we won't travel on TG A380 until late 2014.

They have new F in some of their 747's that fly to LHR anyway (denoted by 9 seats rather than 10) which is rather nice anyway.

Judging by the screen size its not to recent, but did I miss something when they divided the plane length ways, rather than sideways?

There is only one aircraft left with those seats. The newer angled lie flats are installed in the rest of the fleet. the galley configuration remains
