In the email sent out yesterday, I noted that QF said that I can now "choose to use Qantas Points* for taxes, fees and carrier charges when flying domestically or leaving Australian shores for a trip overseas on Qantas (QF), Jetstar (JQ) and selected flights on partner airlines".
But, having had a play around with the new integrated engine, I cannot seem to find this option. Once I choose my flights, it takes me to the summary page telling me what the card payment is. I have tried dummy bookings on QF to LAX, JQ to HNL, QF to HKG and NRT and still, no option. I know that this used to be available for domestic flights, so there would be no point in announcing it if it wasn't now expanded to international flights. Am I missing something?
