Apologies if this isn't the best place for this, I couldn't decide if it was an LX question, a *A question or a train question! 😅

Contemplating back-up options for getting from London to Munich in August, in case our plan A (a stopover in TRD) falls through, and I'm very tempted to book LCY-ZRH-ZMU on Swiss. The train ride is through a beautiful part of the world, and the alternative routes all involve dealing with one or more large airports, which is not my idea of a good time.

My question is - the luggage rules for the actual flight and the LX codeshare train would be the same per the ticket details, but do the *A benefits carry across to the train as well? I trawled the T&Cs but as far as I can see, they only refer to Senator/HON Circle, not partner status. I am KFEG, and we're traipsing around the UK and parts of Europe for a month, so we'll have luggage. Any insights, or should I just book Euro business to be on the safe side?

IIRC, there aren't any luggage limits on Eurocity trains from Switzerland (which operate to Munich), limited by space and your ability to handle and lift the luggage. Your ticketed luggage allowance is irrelevant to the train sector in this instance.
