Super simple interlining bags question

Checking into a Paris to LHR flight with BA can they through-check my bags onto that evening's QF2 departure (both flights were booked as separate award bookings). I'm fairly sure the answer is yes but would like to be certain...

Edit - oh there's another thread on this live at the moment and the answer appears to be yes.
