Hey Guys.

I do a bit of street photography and have been published in a couple magazines. I know some frequent flyers are also avid photographers, so I thought i'd post some photos from a fairly recent collection of mine for some feedback and comments.
All of these pictures are taken from my old neighbourhood in Hong Kong.

Brilliant capture of HKG's street scenes. Ahh, the memories. Smells, tastes, sounds...love it.

Wow, really nice photos you're taking there. I used to live in Sheung Wan for a year and these photos brought back the sights and smells. Thank you so much!

Custard tarts… *drools*

Yeah but you really got get some of them Portuguese Egg Tarts from neighbouring Macau (try Lord Stowes bakery on Coloane), not the imitation ones in HK either..

While I agree with you that the ones in Macau are very good too, having lived in Hong Kong most of my life, any would do just fine right about now :p

We're starting to see the bakeries you find in HK starting to pop up around places in Sydney, those little hot dog rolls are always a good filler.

Which do you prefer, short crust or flakey? I honestly don't care, as long as I have one in my hand. That and BBQ Pork Puffs. Oh my god i'm getting excited.

To be honest it doesn't matter which, and sometimes even go for the coconut flavoured ones with the cherry on top. Can't recall what they are, but would kill for one right now. Maybe I'll dream about them :)



If I found one on the Gold Coast I’d be very happy indeed.

Brisbane has many. Sydney has had them in Chinatown area for years. 10+ perhaps?

The gold coast may catch up eventually...
