Earlier this year I was travelling home to KGI from DRW via PER. The DRW to PER flight was delayed and I missed my connecting flight KGI. Qantas arranged a hotel for the night and provided me with transport.

I thought nothing of it as this has happened before, only this time they had booked me into the Burswood Holiday Inn. I've been there a few times before and enjoy the service and meals they offer. And being closer to the airport is always handy.

Now, as Qantas booked and paid for my room I’m a little confused as to why I have been credited 600 points marked – BURSWOOD in my activity statement. But here is the kicker, the points have been credited to/by Velocity!! I know I did not provide my velocity card when I checked in so I’m totally confused about this.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this may have happened?

Cheers.
:)
