Hi there
I'm trying to book a fare on the BA website that combines two half return fares to form a circle trip. No problem there but it won't let me add in a stopover on the second fare component even though it permits it in the rules for that fare. The first fare component does not permit stopovers, however, and the second component states (under permitted combinations):
OPEN JAWS/ROUND TRIPS/CIRCLE TRIPS
FARES MAY BE COMBINED ON A HALF ROUND TRIP BASIS
-TO FORM SINGLE OR DOUBLE OPEN JAWS/ROUND TRIPS
-TO FORM CIRCLE TRIPS.
CIRCLE TRIPS NOTE -
IF COMBINING FARES EITHER HALF ROUND TRIP OR
END-ON-END THE MOST RESTRICTIVE CONDITIONS WILL
APPLY
Does that therefore mean that the no stopover rule from the first fare component also applies to this one because it says "the most restrictive conditions apply"? I thought that was to do with change and cancellation penalties, not stopovers...
Be great if anyone can help!
Thanks
