I think that for the first time in a long time, I may be at risk of losing my Virgin Gold Status.

My anniversary date is February - I only need 400 status credits to maintain Gold. I'm currently sitting at 367 - with family pooling.
I am currently in Vancouver BC - tomorrow my wife and I fly down to LA courtesy of Westjet economy (that I booked through Delta - a partner of Virgin).
I think that our last leg from LAX back to Brisbane on Saturday will cancel out last years same leg same class ticket i.e. 2019 SC's expire at same time I earn the new SC's - so in my roughest calculation, I am thinking that we may end up just short of the required 400 status credits.

My questions are as follows;

Does the Westjet leg from Vancouver to LAX qualify for Virgin status credits?
If so what does two economy seats one way Westjet earn in terms of total SC's for my wife and I?
If this is still marginally short of the 400 SC's required - what is the simplest way to generate the difference??
Should I try to upgrade the Westjet leg or try to upgrade the LAX - BNE leg in order to close the SC's gap and push it over the 400 SC's total required?

Any ideas fellow AFF's would be appreciated asap.

regards

What date is your "Review"?

Note that to requalify, you need 400 status credits in the 365 days between review dates (and 4 'flights').

Also, what flight number is the Westjest flight?

Sounds like u will have 3 days then to earn the additional 33 SC you need to requalify.

Even if you flew with DL or HA with eligible flights that earn VFF SC, in the intervening few days, it would also depend on how fast the SC info can be transferred from the partner airline to VFF.

Incorrect - it does not matter how long the SC's take to credit.

All that is needed is to have earned the SC's on flight(s) based on schedule departure date.

Westjet is not a "Delta Connection Branded Carrier", so there would be no earn on the DL*WS codeshare.
My activity table says I have 4 days left before my review
When you log on to your velocity account on a desktop computer you will see two SC tallies. The one at the top right of the page represents the SC's earned in the past 365 days - THIS VALUE IS NOT RELEVANT TO RE-QUALIFICATION.

If you scroll down to to the "YOUR STATUS" section, the on the left side of the screen the box gives you your current qualification requirements. The SC tally shown the only important figure here. (I assume you have the four flights.)

What is the review date on your membership card? I am going to guess you posted "4 Days" on Friday 7th February, which means your review date may be as early as Tuesday 11th - your flight on Saturday 8th is before that so would count.

Assuming your flight to Brisbane is on VA6 and if you booked a revenue fare that earns SC then you would get at least¹ 40 SC each; that would family pool to 80 SC. No matter when the SC's credit, the only important date in relation to any qualification is the scheduled departure date - i.e. 8th February 2020.

¹I don't know what class of travel you are booked in, the 40SC is based on "Getaway".
