Status Credits from Singapore Air to Velocity time frame?

Any idea how long it will take for status credits earned on a Singapore Airlines flight to hit my Velocity acct?

On my flight a few days ago, I got my points from SQ the day after. The points from my Virgin domestic connection are still yet to post though. I don’t know why SQ is so much faster than VA.

I have had the same experience as StealthFlyer. My points and status credits come across faster from SQ than VA domestic flights.

Add me to the list who have received SCs from Singapore faster than from Virgin, usually the day after flying.

2-3 days here. Of interest I flew domestic leg with Delta in USA in June and received points/SC the next day!

Just back from 4 x SQ flights and both my points and SC and my partners pooled points were credited next day for each of the 4 flights. Too good

That’s my experience with Virgin and one of the principal reasons I switched to Qantas. With QFF I have points and SCs within minutes of touching down, with Velocity it would take weeks and the call centre would only look at it “after 5 weeks”. The final straw came when I once had two flights, with points not credited, one was five weeks past and one, only four and a half (the return leg of a business trip), the call centre operator would only look at the older one and told me I would have to call back in a few days if the other flight wasn’t credited. Guess what? It wasn’t! I switched from Velocity platinum and am now QFF platinum, so Virgin lost a lot of business and a lot of money through one dissatisfied customer.

I recently flew SYD-SIN-BKK-SIN-SYD on Singapore Airlines on a VA ticket with VA codeshare flight numbers. My points and SC's were credited within 48 hours for all sectors. No complaints from me.

flights from BNE to Sin to PEK, then from PVG to Sin to BNE have each taked over a month to hit my account and only after I logged missing points claims for each sector.
Still waiting for PEK to XIY from Hainan air and logged these with Virgin over a month ago. These were also on VA flight numbers apart for the Hainan flight.
