Hi

Looking at switching from PC to SPG:rolleyes: .

Need the ph/e-mail contact of someone in authority covering Australia.

Anyone got them?

Don't think you'll get much of a status match from PC Platinum even to SPG gold. Most hotel chains don't give much, if anything even if you have PC plat. Check the Status Match Thread on FT.

Yeah

Recieved an e-mail from one of their CR flunkies to that effect. Strange thing is they would comp status from just about every other program (Marriot, Hilton, Hyatt et all).

I can understand not status matching if you have only achieved PC Plat status in a few stays with bonus points and so forth but I can document 75 stays at IC brand hotels (mostly Intercons and CP's) this year.

This is approx US$50K worth of revenue and 3 times what they need to qualify you as SPG plat so I fiqure I should try to talk to someone who can see the value involved in getting me across and has the authority to make it happen.

If not I will stick with PC.
