Anyone have any idea what month Sri Lankan Airways are joining " ONE WORLD " ?

Both Qatar and Sri Lankan were announced in June 2012.

It looks like Qatar is on track for October 2013 (under 18 months) per Ausbt - Qatar to join oneworld alliance, partner with Qantas, in October - Flights | hotels | frequent flyer | business class - Australian Business Traveller

I expect Sri Lankan to be more like Malaysian (and take just over 18 months)
Thus predicting a 1 Feb 2014 date.

Anyone used the sri lanka lounge at CMB before?

They hub in BKK too which is good for connections. Wonder if their BKK-HKG run is as good value as the RJ one.

Imagine if QF started a MEL-CMB service and got UL to codeshare on it, as a means of getting QF pax into a hub that would serve all of India.

Yes used there lounges last August, not the best, but not the worst either, to be fair they were getting renovated so can't criticise too much, but the one in Sin and heathrow are great.
