I made a booking online with priceline and at the name details entry stage entered my first and last name. On the separate suffix box I couldn't see Mr/Mrs etc so I selected Sr to ensure it knew I was a male. Little did I realise that this got connected to my last name as one word. The only way to view the booking is to put LASTNAMEsr. I contacted Qantas and asked for them to correct it they said they couldn't - only travel agent. I asked very clearly to confirm my first and last name is correct and there was a space after my last name with Sr following(since I assumed as a last resort suffix was not important and I would still be OK to fly). The woman said there was a space between my last name and the Sr but could not tell me if it would be a problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated, if only I realised at the time that you didn't have to select a Suffix (or that suffix referred to common american additions and not Mr/Miss/Mrs etc which if I had of thought a bit more would be prefixes or titles !!).

The travel agent did make a note on my booking that my correct name does not include a suffix - I have no idea if check-in agent sees this information or will it help in any way?
