Quite annoyed with SQ this evening. Flying out to LHR on SQ218/308 on March 3; SQ308 was on A380. Just been told that there is a change in aircraft to a B777W. A week ago or so, SQ308 was cancelled. Not sure why this is happening. Might change to SQ318 as this is flown on B777WN. Much prefer the A380; cabin air pressure much better than in the B777s. Ideas?

Last minute aircraft change is a common thing these days. Can't help it.

Having said that, the SQ B777W is not that bad.

Flew 318 (in Y) last week it was 77WN seemed nice enough - liked the new screens - but I'd stick to schedule that suits, 3 hrs connection seems more than enough, better than waiting another 4 hrs, just to get a slightly better plane.

That happened to me as well, I looked up the timetables for the day I was flying and found that the SQ308 was flying at a different time
to the one I had booked on, rung Singapore Air and asked them to change my flight to a 380 as that was the plane I wanted to fly on,
they changed it for me, with no problem. I saw that there were 5 380's flying out on March 3rd (I presume from Sydney). Good luck.
