I have used it a couple of times and found it to be okay. I only used it for Whatsapp though..

IMHO USELESS - I used it once - it was so bad I gave up after 30mins or so. I fired off email to SQ on arrival home and they refunded cost without blinking - me thinks they might get more than a handful of requests for refunds.

As always - IMHO FWIW - YMMV.

As always - IMHO for FWIW - YMMV.

Thanks for the tip! Will be sending a request for refund the next time ;)

I found it rather expensive with small data limits for the prices they wanted LAX - NRT so I didn't bother.

Just wondering if people have experiences as tot he usefulness of the SQ A380 inflight wifi and messaging : CONNECTIVITY, AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

By any change do they offer the wifi free to Suites pax?

T-7 days and counting.

In suites, last Nov, the CSM gave me a heap of them; gratis.
They were great for sending blue iMessages and emails but useless for surfing. I don't blame SQ, rather the fact that webpages are full of mindless, data-hungry ads.
If you stick to emails, bragging about where you are, what you are drinking etc, then they are worth the money!!!!

... or doing an AFF TR!

On a blackberry, works rather well actually.

Almost too well because the email counter keeps going up and it sort of feels like the work-free sanctuary has been breached.
