SQ 21 hour connection luggage hold question

We have a trip MEL SIN SAI with a 21 hour stopover in Singapore. Happy with that but will my luggage be held over at Singapore ?
I have booked the Crown Plaza and will catch the MRT into the city to use up the time.

Yes they should be able to through check it for you, and hold the luggage in Singapore. If not (and I'm not sure why not), you can collect after arriving at SIN and re-check it immediately as SQ allows early check in of luggage up to 24 hrs before departure at Changi.
