Ok, latest reports are that we are now going on a sojourn to Fiji (De Vos) for a week or two and then go home. What I would like to do is go home to HBA via LAX and preferably FCO for a week or so. What options are available for a flight from NAN to LAX (I assume via AKL?) and then back to HBA (via FCO>HKG>HBA). Any ideas? (As an aside, MrsGurio would prefer an over 12 hr flight - goodness knows why!)

I would prefer to use VA or some sort of DJ alliance so i can get gold this year (I imagine I have Silver in the bag already pending "enhancements"). Alternatively if I have t,o I'll use QF.

I have about 170k points in QF and about 110k in DJ. Im happy to use points for MrsGurio and GrommetGurio, while I pay for myself in the never ending quest for status!
