great, another dilution of qp "benefits".

If you are a qantas staffer reading this, take note. In the great Virgin Blue lounge the bar opens at 11am. The Qantas club by virtue of now opening the bar at 2pm (previously 12pm) the Qantas club is now offering an inferior and un-competitive product to its competitor.
Maybe someone from qantas should go and do what in the supermarket industry is known as a "comp check"

Perhaps you should try out Priority Pass - gives you access to the Lounge regardless of what airline you are flying. There still could be the discount available through the Freddies website. Certainly it is an easy enough to do at both Brisbane and Adelaide. Possible in Melbourne given the Lounge is landside, but it is a bit of a walk. If only Sydney had an airside connection between T2 and T3.

Thanks Openseat, I already have priority pass coutesty of Amex charge card, thats how I know that "the Lounge" is a great lounge. It would be a real pain in Sydney with the two dom terminals.
