I am a bit behind in my thread reading, and found this thread to be just a little out of the ordinary.

... such as almost 14,000 views of this one thread ? The Abbreviations and Explanations sticky in the Your Questions forum hasnt reached 16,000 views yet. I know this thread has been around for a couple of years longer but its still... strange. Must be a link somewhere that people are finding and thinking its an official Skywards support site.

Doing a google search on Skywards and Emirates and/or Sri Lankan Airline - AFF doesnt even appear on the first page...

If you do a google search on "Emirates frequent flyer" and select pages from Australia only then this thread is number 2 on the list.

If you do a google on "Skywards frequent flyer" and select pages from Australia only then 2 separate AFF threads appear at the top of the list.

If you do a google on "Sri Lanka Ailines frequent flyer" and select pages from Australia only then 2 separate AFF threads appear at the top of the list.

Could be it. I thought the view count was a bit strange for what I thought would have been of interest to a smallish group on this board. As you say it must be linked from somewhere out there in the Internet.
