I assume they have taken the lower status as there is not a QFF comparison, either way I amm happy for the lounge access

The way i read it you need to pay for lounge access, looks like $350 for gold.

I'm surprised they allowed you to pursue a challenge given that you're not on AA or UA. Makes sense, I guess.

Note that you cannot access Delta Sky Clubs on domestic tickets using your Medallion Gold status. You can only access Delta Sky Clubs using your status if you are flying on a DL or SkyTeam international flight / ticket (this is a SkyTeam alliance provision).

You can receive a discount to signing up for Sky Club lounge access as a Medallion Gold.
