Oh ok that's different. Thought about using the PTV route? I guess if work is paying it doesn't matter :)
I have done PTV before, but just sucks up too much time. Work is paying…but it is not client reimbursable…it is overhead…and it is small business…and I am shareholder…so keeping costs down and balancing value of time of equation!

For 2 trips a week buying book for Skybus is worth it, and if bought on a points earning card, that's 170 QFF points.
If I were doing the MEL airport run for early morn flights Skybus wins.
If for SYD, I would probably do the bus to Mascot and train around.
PER, train.
BNE, orange bus to Skygate and then bus to nearest station.

For BNE, Airtrain is still return for free if you book online. Good value, in the sense that it is priced just about right IMO considering it is privately owned.

Turns out the train from domestic to international is $4 plus train fare

I would still get the QF bus if flying int - dom or vv with QF/EK (SYD - CHC/vv).
If going to ZQN with VA, I would probably go with 420 and overnight stay at the Rydges.
Or do MEL, and stay at the egalitarian Ibis Budget Melbourne Airport.
If VA to NZ overnight, again the 420 bus (ie, last flight from ADL - SYD and then get the last 420 for $2.24.
Will wait and see about the walk from PER T1 to Airport Central Station tho.
Comfort seat booking with VA 737-700/320.

Me too (twice weekly trips).

I’ve recently taken advantage of the couple of promotions for christmas, and via KrisFler. The first I think was 15% off, the krisflyer is 10%.

Brought my $160 carnet down to $144. Feels like i’m getting a bargain!

News today in the Herald Sun of a new road overpass into Melbourne Airport. Looks like it will take out part of the long term carpark closest to the terminal. The option to walk to the terminal will probably disappear and everyone will have to catch the bus from the long term carpark to the terminal.

If only they'd allow the train to be built then maybe this road overpass won't be required. How can one company's greed take a whole city hostage?

free Article here. Hope this doesnt create even more chaotic traffic for the drop off, already bad at peak hours.

Oh dear - looks like on hold for the foreseeable
Just cancel the damn thing until someone willing to take on a PPP to have the right funding to build a serious line comes along. Sorry but there is a reason this project keeps getting kicked down the road (pun definitely intended)

For Melbourne Tullamarine to city...
Sometimes we just have to take the 478 instead of 901, and get tram to city.
Till or if we do get the train to Tullamatmrine Airport.
