Hi brains trust,

Am I crazy to try and visit the Singapore Zoo, the River Safari and Night Safari all on one day? I would be solo so nothing other than the heat to slow me down.

Advice please.

I agree with the post above. I've done the zoo and because it's hot and humid, it feels like a long day. I would think you could do the night safari, too.

Is this the promo for the stayover that Singapore Airlines is offering for two nights?

Also I used Uber to get to the zoo... simple and efficient.

No its just that due to very late arrival(10pm), i only really have 2 nights in Singapore for night activities, and 3 days (as also have a 11:55pm flight out), so trying to maximise my time and avoid backtracking.

There is a deal at the moment for all 4 zoos plus all trams and boat rides for $80, I've no interest in the bird park but thought if I could power through the other 3 in one day/night, then i still have an evening free to do Gardens By the Bay and a really nice dinner out. Then can do cultural city based stuff (walking tours etc) on departure day, leaving enough time to check out the new attractions at the airport, and have a shower in the Qantas lounge before my UK flight.

The pass is good for 7 days, i guess I could play it by ear, do the zoo and if tired afterwards, head back to hotel for a nanna nap before the night zoo, or if feeling ok go to the river safari in between.

What time is sunset/night zoo opens? I once went late afternoon and had dinner after zoo closing/before night zoo opened.

To be honest, I found the night zoo more enjoyable about 2hrs after it opens as it seems the buses load up and take most of the visitors away. No problem finding a taxi late at night to return to the city.

Gardens by the Bay, go to the Cloud conservatory as its a nice cool place to visit.

enjoy

Just a note. We made the mistake of going to that Zoo on a Saturday night, during the time of some festival in August. The place was packed.

The queues to get in were a mile long. Took an hour to get through the gate (since they only had one turnstile open). And once inside, the queue to get on their little trains that go around the zoo had another 45 minute wait time - at which time I just started walking.
Regards,
Renato

Well I only have a Monday or Tuesday night to choose from so am hoping they are less popular days.

Reporting back, i managed to easily do the zoo, river safari and night zoo all in one day (actually just an afternoon and early evening),. Did a heritage tour at The Fullerton beforehand, and went to hawker centre in chinatown afterwards.

Monday seems like a good day to go. Entered zoo just before 2pm, saw everything i wanted including 3 shows, just gotta love the orangutan feeding, then watching a 2yo orangutan have a stand off with some otters released into their enclosure. Walked into river safari at 4:45pm, virtually no one there, zero waiting, guessing people with kids go in the morning, done by 6pm. A drink whilst waited for 7:15pm night safari.

Easily done, with no kids in tow.
