I have a client travelling from Singapore to Bogota in August. Any suggestions for routing/airline. Everything I have seen takes 30+ hours, mostly because of poor connections. That may be OK, so long as there is a reasonably good stopover point.

Also, they are premium travellers, and would probably prefer first class all the way. I'm not sure who is still offering real first class into Bogota. Maybe Lufthansa? I think Iberia, Avianca and LAN are all business class.

Help!

Anyone had any experience with private charter into Colombia?

There are no good connections getting to BOG from Asia. Decide if your client is ok connecting in USA (flying east) or the EU (flying west). In the USA, EWR, IAH and MIA offer direct flights to BOG. From the EU, you could get direct from CDG on AF or from MAD on Iberia but you'll have to get to those points first.

I did SIN-NRT-IAH-BOG all in J on United a few months ago. Gruelling at around 28 hours I seem to recall. That was the shortest flight I could find.

Don't know about charter.

What about SIN-FRA-BOG on LH in F? There are only a handful of commercial airports that are further than BOG from SIN!

Thanks guys. Suggestions are helpful. I guess it will depend on where they want to stop off, because I don't see them sitting on planes for 30 hours. NRT might be an option, but I think everything out of there is J. Maybe through Europe, either on LH, or through to MIA on various carriers and J the remainder of the way with Avianca.
