As per here:

Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer 1:1

and here:

With Singapore Airlines, you can transfer up to 79,998 of your Starpoints® into your KrisFlyer account at a 1-to-1 ratio. And, for every 20,000 Starpoints transferred within the same transaction, you will earn 5,000 bonus Starpoints to be automatically added to your transfer for a maximum of 94,998 KrisFlyer miles per eligible transfer.

There is no minimum point transfer requirement for Platinum members. Gold members have a minimum point transfer of 1,500 Starpoints, and Preferred members have a minimum point transfer of 2,500.

Transfer maximums are based on a combination of member Starpoints and the Starwood Preferred Guest airline transfer transaction bonus. Only one airline transfer transaction per member per program per 24 hour period per airline is allowed; multiple transfers with the same airline within the same 24 hour period will reject. Both the Starwood Preferred Guest and the airline frequent flyer program account must have identical member names in order to complete this request; different names will cause the transfer to reject.

Miles will be credited to your KrisFlyer account within eight weeks of when your transaction is correctly submitted.
KrisFlyer terms and conditions apply. Please visit The PPS Club and KrisFlyer for terms and conditions.

NB, this has been mentioned on sqtalk, but not here. Looks like it happened at the end of July.

Good news. ^

Now the only major program missing in Asia-Pac is Velocity Frequent Flyer.

Pity it doesn't appear to be reciprocal.

A 1:1 Amex-Sing-SPG-AA would have been very nice!

And wouldn't it be nice to get an SPG credit card in Australia?

You can buy SPG points at 35 USD / 1000 points... 700 USD for 25,000 Krisflyer miles (i.e. 2.8c/mile) is a lot cheaper than buying them direct @ 40 USD / 1000 miles.
Well done. Is there any restriction doing this way? If I remember correctly to purchase on the SQ website you need to have a award in mind and require less than a certain amount of miles for the award.
