Will be on SQ 232 out of SYD on Thursday in Suites and connecting to SQ334 in Suites to CDG.

I havent done SQ before and have had a quick peek at the F Lounge in SYD. Small and doesnt look like its worth getting there too early??

Not like the QF F lounge. Do others agree?

WHat is the lounge in SIN for F Class travellers?

Is it the Private Dining Room? Do members have a link or too they could share?

I have 6 hour layover in SIN and plan to go to city for a business dinner then back.

How much spare time should I allow to get back through Security at Changi? (my bags will be already checked through to CDG)?

Tks for the feedback!

THe SQ lounges in SYD are due for refurb soon. Both J and F look tired. The F lounge usually has fewer pax in it.

At SYD checkin, you should be given the invite to The Private Room in SIN. If not, inquire about it. On arrival at the lounge in SIN, the staff will escort you there. It's beyond F lounge and, indeed, very exclusive. Table service for meals, personal attention. The shower and toilets are shared with F lounge pax. Six hours may get boring though. In case you don't go beyond immigration you can frequently go about the terminal(s).

Tks got the info. I will definately go thru immigration and into city for a business dinner

Security is done at gate generally so it should be pretty quick to get through the outbound immigration. Longest wait I have had is about 10 mins. But you can always swap lines if a problematic person is in front of you.

Tks what about coming back in with just carry on? I presume they have an F class priority lane?

SQ check-in rarely have The Private Room invitations on hand now - but do not despair - as a Suites pax you automatically get invite into The Private Room.

Just walk into SKL F Lounge and keep walking ahead - past food service area on your left and keep walking - you will find entrance past here on your left - flash your GOLD Suites Boarding Pass and just walk into The Private Room like you own the place - you will not be questioned.

There are indeed showers / toilets in The Private Room - there is also another shower / toilet section in F Lounge.

SilverKris SYD F lounge vs The Private Room

Silverkris lounge in SYD is in dire need for a refurb. It's just not up to the standard. We think the escort to the plane (not just the gate) when boarding was a nice touch though.

Going back through security after your dinner should be fairly quick. F passengers get their own immigration line in T3 where you're unlikely to see a queue. Although your bags will already be checked through, if you're interested in the full 'F' experience, ask the taxi to drop you off at the First Class drop-off point where you'll get service similar to that of a hotel arrival. From there you can just walk through to the dedicated immigration line for F passengers.

Foreigner, last time we're in TPR shower and toilets are located after the very last checkpoint. There was no one else around so I can't tell if it's a shared facility with F Lounge pax. Do they have to go past the TPR lounge dragon each time or is there an entry from the other side I'm not aware of?

YES there is indeed 1 x shower / toilet complex within SKL F Lounge - and there is 1 x shower / toilet complex within The Private Room.

There is only 1 entrance into SKL F Lounge and after you enter SKL F Lounge there is only 1 entrance into The Private Room.

Suites pax have access to The Private Room - I am not sure what other criteria exists to determine access or not - BUT - whether I am in Suites or Std F I just waltz into The Private Room like I own the place - I have never been denied entry - and ALWAYS on award tix.

Infinity as has been mentioned if you exit SIN terminal and then return make sure taxi drops you off at designated F Entry - gonna make you feel kinda special.

AFAIK, only F /Suite ticket holders are allowed in TPR.

Status means zip !

And no guest is allowed.

That's why there is always a 4-5:1 ratio of pax in the F lounge vs TPR.

One thing you don't get in the TPR but only in the F lounge is the trolley service where every 10-15 min, an attendant would push (carry) a food-laden trolley (tray) past you in case you want to have a quick bite.

They won't shove the food to your face but will stop on request.

TPR: you get peace and privacy - most of the times (I was annoyed by a loud mobile phone conversation when I was last there - quite improper IMO).

The shower cubicle in the TPR is grander than what you get at 5* hotels.

Attendants are always in the shower complex ready to tidy up once you exit the cubicle.

Make sure you ask for the est. walking time between TPR and gate, just in case it is far away - not that the plane will leave without you.

PS: slightly OTP, from memory the plane arrives in CDG quite early in the morning, so make sure you have the hotel all sorted out with early check in if that's what you need.

Great responses one and all. Looking forward to compare SG A380) suites to other F A380 I have done in last 12 months;

QF, MH,TG, EK, (CX,AA and EK on 777ER's)

When I was in the TPR, they brought the trolley around with desserts. It was overwheming.

Sitting in TPR, serving Verve le Grand Dame, Wok grilled Lobster and Californian chardonnay. Off to CDG now. Hopefully will be the best A380 F ahead of TG,MH,EK,QF the EY (777)

Nice problem to have ;)
