Just watching a report on the cruise industry and the purchase of the final third of Silversea was completed yesterday

Out of interest Ron do you think this will make any difference to SS? Maybe it will be a positive although large corps buying boutique don’t always end well.
 
Almost certainly a positive as I doubt the old Silversea owners would have had the financial resources to survive this crisis.If they did service levels would definitely have been reduced.
The who;e cruise industry really is desperate.Even if cruising restarts this year many folk will just not think it worth the risk.

We haven't cancelled our October 30th cruise on the Silver Moon only because a possible better deal if they cancel it.We were hoping to do a similiar cruise on the Silver Dawn beginning 1/11/21.But just checked cruise liner new builds and the Silver Dawn is not scheduled to be handed over until November 2021 so that cruise is out.
