I was a little surprised that he received a jail sentence. I guess fraud is fraud no matter which way you look at it.

It was also interesting to read the judge comment on QFs Australian executives who were implicated in the scandal but could not be brought to trial in the USA.

Yep, I thought jail was a bit harsh as well. But Ms Medhead reminded me of the celebrity gaols they have in California. So hopefully, it won't be too bad for him.

Hmm.... does that imply that if those QF's Australian execs fly to US,
they can be busted...???

If they are believed to have committed an offence, of course they can... same as would apply to anyone

If they judge has implied that they were also involved then possibly they may be tried by a US court if they enter the USA at a future time.
